Whats more the recent “transgressions” of the world’s number one golfer is sounding alarm bells within the female fraternity at CNN’s London bureau.

Woods’ alleged off-course shenanigans with – oh, please! – a cocktail waitress, has started a debate about whether their own partners are “playing ball”.

We want to know whether Tiger's transgressions have caused you to question the faithfulness of your other half. Are you seeing the golf clubs left lying around the house in a new empowering light?

Ok. We know Tiger's said claims of physical violence are "false and malicious" but one has to remember that clubs can be incredibly effective at showing how you feel about your relationship. Just ask Nick Faldo.

Growing up in Barranquilla, on the Colombian Caribbean coast, when she was eight years old, Shakira's father declared bankruptcy. Losing most of their possessions, the young Shakira thought the world had ended, until her father took her to a local park where she witnessed the sight of orphans living there, taking drugs and sniffing glue.

At that moment Shakira made a vow to herself that one day she would become a famous artist and help these kids

Like her hips, she didn’t lie: she became a stratospheric hit worldwide – acording to Forbes Magazine, the 4th highest-earning woman in music for 2008 – and she did not forget her promise to the children

At just 18 years old, she founded The Pies Descalzos Foundation – named after her 3rd album – which helps deprived children get access to good education. Their work is based close to Shakira’s birthplace.

Shakira broadened her humanitarian work through the Barefoot Foundation – named after her distinctive belly dancing stance – with a mission to support the same universal education goals.

Not stopping there, as UINICEF Goodwill ambassador, Shakira has taken her humanitarian work worldwide.

A belly-dancing Latin bombshell, and philanthropist raising millions for children’s charities – Shakira is our connector of the day.

Send your questions for Shakira and we’ll put the best of them to her on Monday’s show.

On Friday, a jury will start their deliberations as to whether her flatmate, 22-year-old Amanda Knox and Knox's former Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 25, are guilty of the Briton’s murder.

One man, Ivory Coast immigrant Rudy Guede, is already behind bars for his part in the murder.

But the very public trial of Knox and Sollecito, which has lasted almost a year, raises a number of issues.

It has, at times, felt as if the victim and her grieving relatives have been totally forgotten such has been the media obsession with the “facts” of the case and the alleged behaviour and public demeanour of Amanda Knox.

Another problem has been the curious antiquities of the Italian judicial system which appears to condone prosecutors leaking juicy tidbits to reporters before a trial has even started. The chief prosecutor in this case, Giuliano Mignini, wasn't backward in coming forward before the trial began.

And far from marking the close of a gruesome chapter in the lives of all those affected by this tragic case, the end of the trial will, no doubt, start a mad rush to secure exclusive interviews with all those involved – especially Knox, if she is acquitted.

Do you think that the victim has been forgotten? What has been your opinion of the coverage of the trial? Has all the information that has been available to the public hampered objectivity and more importantly the objectivity of the jury? Post your comments below.

In her new book "For Richer For Poorer" Coren describes her life-long love affair with the game...

Which finally paid off in 2006 when she won a million dollars – tax free – on the London leg of the European Poker Tour, a four-day long gambling marathon.

Victoria is the daughter of celebrated humorist Alan Coren, who died in 2007, and sister of Giles Coren, food critic and tv presenter.

Blessed with the family writing gene, she started penning columns aged 14 for a London newspaper, and had her first book published when she was 16.

But poker always held a fascination for her.
From her teenage years when she yearned to join her older brother’s gang of mates around the kitchen table dealing cards.
Till now when she writes about poker, commentates poker tournaments, and spends every spare minute in her favourite casino or gambling online.

Female players are still in the minority, and the book describes how there is little room at the poker table for husband and children. For now, anyway.

Sophisticated, talented and skilful, or lucky and loaded?
Million-dollar poker player, Victoria Coren is our Connector of the Day – send your questions for her here, and we’ll put the best of them to her on Friday’s show.

He has won twenty-two Grammy Awards - the most ever won by a male solo artist.

Blind from birth, Wonder’s music has always reflected his concern with humanitarian issues. He has written, produced and performed songs to endorse charities for disabilities, AIDS, cancer, diabetes, hunger and homelessness and domestic abuse.

A much-loved favourite at the White House, Wonder's tune, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," was often played at President Obama's campaign stops.

The president has been known to cite Wonder's music as the soundtrack to his youth and marriage. Wonder's love song, "You and I," had been the couple's wedding song.

This week he is joining the prestigious list of United Nations Messengers of Peace to advocate for the Organisation’s work.
“Our newest Messenger of Peace is someone who is admired by millions of people and has given back to millions of people,” U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, ahead of Wonder’s official designation.

Stevie Wonder will be our Connector of the Day – send your questions and we’ll put the best of them to him on the show.

The final movie of the seventh J.K. Rowling book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is a two-part film, whose first instalment is due to be released in November 2010.

Broadcasters have just gotten their first peak at the upcoming mega-hit.

And so the young global superstars borne from the Harry Potter movie franchise – Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint – are looking towards a Harry Potter-less future after a decade growing up together on screen.

But what of the legions of Harry Potter fans around the world? Deathly Hallows broke sales records as the fastest-selling book ever, selling 15 million copies in its first 24 hours.

Where do they find a home now?

At the same time that Harry Potter winds down its amazing run in all medium – print, film and merchandising knock-offs – another mega-series is taking shape: Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight saga about repressed teenage love between a vampire and his high school sweetheart.

The second instalment in the American romantic fantasy film series, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon ,” broke box-office records this November as the biggest single day domestic gross at $72.7 million.

Like the Harry Potter franchise, Meyers’ books are instant best-sellers; the films instant super-hits. The film’s smouldering young British star, Robert Pattinson, has already graced magazine covers. Legions of screaming young girls follow him wherever he appears.

Is Twilight the new Harry Potter?

Can Harry Potter fans transition from wizards to vampires? Will Twilight continue the path blazed by Harry? Or is it just not the same thing?

Now freed, he will be on Wednesday’s show to talk about his horrific experience.

A correspondent for U.S. magazine Newsweek, Bahari was reporting on Iran’s highly controversial Presidential elections, in June 2009.

The elections saw incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announce a victory with 62% of the votes cast, but many analysts voiced doubts about the authenticity of the results. During a series of protests staged in Tehran, authorities clamped down and made arrests of demonstrators, dissenting voices, and journalists.

Among them, Maziar Bahari, dual citizen of Canada and Iran, whose wife Paola Gourley was pregnant at the time.

He was accused of being a spy and forced to make a false confession acknowledging that western journalists conduct espionage.

At times during his imprisonment he was so fearful for his situation that he considered committing suicide.

Send your questions here for Maziar Bahari and we’ll put the best of them to him on Wednesday’s show.

World No. 1 golfer Tiger Woods still isn’t talking about what happened in the wee hours of last Friday morning, when he crashed his Cadillac SUV into a fire hydrant and tree in his exclusive private golf community outside Orlando. He’s refused to meet with Florida troopers investigating the crash on three separate occasions.

And now, he’s not golfing either, having announced yesterday he’s pulling out of his own tournament, the Chevron World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, California, due to start this week without him.

Today, he was supposed to appear at a press conference promoting the tournament, which he hosts every year.

So it seems Woods, 33, has managed to avoid being out in public for the foreseeable future. Arguably the world’s most famous athlete, Woods is known as an extremely private man who goes to great lengths to uphold his image.

As he stays out of the public eye malicious rumors are circulating about what happened that night.

Is Tiger making things worse by not talking?

Does Tiger owe it to his fans to give a full explanation of what happened that night?

Will it hurt his reputation even more to keep silent?

Or can he keep what he himself called an “embarrassing” situation private?

After her parents died of AIDS when she was only ten years old, Sanyu Nakyeyune was left to look after her two younger siblings in a rural Ugandan village without electricity or running water. Trying to attend school on top of all her tasks at home was proving impossible.

But with the help of LEAD Uganda – an educational leadership initiative helping AIDS orphans, former child soldiers and child laborers into schools – Sanyu is now attending one of the best boarding schools in the country and regularly achieving A+ grades. She wants to be a doctor when she is older.

LEAD Uganda is helping Sanyu and other African children learn the skills which will allow them to help solve their own problems.

Now aged 14, Sanyu is focused on serving her country and helping Africa. To mark World AIDS Day, Sanyu Nakyeyune is Tuesday's Connector of the Day. Send her your questions.
